Tokyo Africa Collection 2019 will be sponsored by ”Entre AFRICA JAPON - Africa Entrepreneurship Support Consortium". Tokyo Africa Collection will work with Africa Entrepreneurship Support Consortium to promote the projects in Africa which the consortium has been supporting.
”Entre AFRICA JAPON - Africa Entrepreneurship Support Consortium is organization to support Japanese young entrepreneurs in Africa to develop better relationship and sustainable growth of Japan and Africa. The consortium is run by Shibusawa and Company, Inc. and consists of several Japanese companies and individuals including Nippon Signal Co., Ltd., Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., Marubeni Corporation, Kewpie Corporation, Japan Tobacco Inc., Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., SOMAR Corporation, Inabata & Co., Ltd. Semco Co., Ltd., ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Saraya Co., Ltd., Kao Corporation, Fast Retailing Co., Ltd, and AAIC Japan Co., Ltd.
Tokyo Africa Collection 2019が、アフリカ起業支援コンソーシアムから協賛を頂くことが決定しました。Tokyo Africa Collectionはアフリカ起業支援コンソーシアムの支援する若手起業家の事業等をショー会場のブース等でPRするなど、連携を図ってまいります。
アフリカ起業支援コンソーシアムは、アフリカ現地での起業を通じて社会的課題の解決に挑む若手日本人を支援し、アフリカと日本の相互関係の向上と持続的成長を促進することを目標に掲げる「日本AFRICA起業家イニシアチブ」を主催。2016年からこれまで10名のアフリカで活動する日本人若手起業家を選定、支援してきました。アフリカ起業支援コンソーシアムは、日本信号株式会社、住友化学株式会社、丸紅株式会社、キューピー株式会社、日本たばこ産業株式会社、豊田通商株式会社、三井不動産株式会社、ソマール株式会社、稲畑産業株式会社、環境機器株式会社、ロート製薬株式会社、サラヤ株式会社、花王株式会社、株式会社ファーストリテイリング、AAIC Japan Co., Ltd.等日本企業・経済人らで形成され、事務局はシブサワ・アンド・カンパニー株式会社が務めています。
